The Crime Prevention Through Education Foundation is a publicly supported organization comprised of volunteers of good standing in the community, who are interested in volunteer crime prevention, pro-active law enforcement and strengthening the community to be a safer and more secure place in which to live. CPTEF seeks support for the programs and services we provide. The CPTEF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our services are dependent upon donations from the public. Donations are fully tax-deductible. The CPTEF Federal Tax Number is 02-0629784.

Currently we are seeking priority funding to:

• Provide body armor for all 50 of our volunteer deputies
• Purchase 20 Automated External Defibrillators to fully equip all Sheriff's Office vehicles with these life-saving devices used when responding to a cardiac arrest emergency
• Purchase CPR training materials for free community CPR classes
• Update radio communications equipment for our volunteer deputies
• Purchase a Community Response Vehicle
• Provide Project Lifesaver transmitter bracelets to all at-risk Alzheimer's patients in our community
• Purchase new uniforms for our Pipe and Drum Band
